it's like,- it turns too "crisp" and therefore not too "planted"? ... it's like, the driver keeps correcting it in EVERY TURN! I blame it on the new Electric Steering? just a thought. please chime in. I just know how E92 is in high speed turns,- very planted and solid... very rarely needs correcting... (maybe I am not going fast enough?)

just google up 335i with a exhaust. car and driver "The M3’s exhaust note is deeper and louder than that of a 335i, but not radically different" http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...st-ride-review IMO 335i are not known for being really good sounding engines. |

I thought my 1M with a magnaflow exhaust was delicious - I hope they can use the same muffler and charge $600.
What would be nice though if BMW did it themselves.... |

Here's a source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...leife_lap_time E46 M3 - 8:22 E92 M3 - 8:05 seconds E46 M3 CSL - 7:50 E92 M3 GTS - 7:48 The new M3 weighs around the same as the E46 and is more powerful than the GTS. Jealousy is not going to slow it down for sure.

Looking good.
Now for a request: BMW please give us with this generation a mid cycle CSL or GTS version with race seats, no luxury tech options, choice of tranny, a few extra hp, less weight and good availability in the US. |

Funny at all the sounds crappy part. The s65 sounds awesome but there is no exhaust note at all. Yes the engine noise will not be there but with intake and filter itll sound like a 747 jet taking off. Try it in high gear and climb revs slow. Sounds awesome.
Oh btw, the same guys buy exhausts on the e9xm to make it sound just as fart canny lol. |

Every new generation of M3 has been a good news/bad news event. The I-6 was a disappointment vs. the refinement of the racing 4-cyl. The V8 was a disappointment because it just wasn't "BMW" (and it needed the Weight Watchers program). Every one of them has been faster and more luxurious than the one before it, and every generation has earned rabid fans. The big difference is, that for the first time, THIS generation will be lighter than the one before it!
Personally, I love them all - each for its unique strengths that make it both an awesome driver's car and a daily-driver family car. The M3 is dead. Long live the M3 (er...4?)!

I guess I have to hear it in person, but I hear so many 335i's on a daily basis if it reminds me anything of that it's going to suck |
