Do people really cross shop these? I mean I would LOVE and am planning on getting into the new m3 in a couple of years. It's I think the only car within this price range I'd consider. The Mustang would never even come remotely close to my list of cars. Perhaps it's just me. Perhaps a vote should be set up to see how many would cross-shop a mustang and an m4?

What I get out of many of these comments is that a guys identity, self image or what have you is mistakenly wrapped into the logo on their car.

I went from an e92 M3 to an F10 M5 and have a 14 GT500. The interior is cheap but man, it's such a fun car that feels like it actually has 662hp. It's insane and makes my other cars feel as if something is wrong with them after driving the mustang. I'm actually concerned that they will tame this newer one too much and take the fun out of it.

The numbers might be close but the experience will never be the same,
Do I ever compare a 911 to a E92/E90 M3? No, because the driving feel/experience is totally different. |

Loving the new Mustang styling esp the Fastback rear!!!!
The problem is the CHEAP interior is a big turnoff as well as the overall POOR build quality. Look at those huge panels gaps and cheap plastics.

Lets compare the interiors of both the BMW F30 and the new Mustang
Do most of you complaining about the interior really think that BMW F30 interior looks better then the new Mustang interior? The M3/M4 interior will be identical to that 3 series interior besides different trim offerings and different steering wheel and seats. |
