285/35/18 Hankook RS4 on 11" wide?

I have the opportunity to get a set of 18x9.5 and 18x11 volk TE37s from a friend for a good price (mag blue, much sexy) to add to my current collection of 18x10 square.

unfortunately there really aren't alot of good tires choices for an 18x11...

I entertained running 275/35 and 305/35 NT01s but I'd like something I could also drive on the street occasionally that can get me home reasonably safe if it suddenly rained. And frankly with my skill level I think I'd benefit staying on street tires longer. I'd like to avoid 315/30 and having to run a shorter tire in the rear. My options are:

Conti ECS comes in 265/35 and 295/35, would be the way to go if I relegate the Volks to street/rain tire only and run the 18x10 as track/fun tires.

A052 comes in 265/35 and 295/35 but they seem to be less popular for DEs (costs more, wears faster, sensitivity to heat etc) but it's a viable option.

RS4 come in 265/35 and 285/35 and seem to run wide, the hankook site lists tread width for a 285/35 at 270mm or 10.6... anyone try this size on an 11" rear?

TIA
