I have V1s all around and personally think its the perfect drive height without clenching the arse on every dip/bump. I think the V2s drop to low in the rear but the fronts look desirable. Can anyone share any feedback with running V2 fronts with V1 rears? As I'm looking to maybe heading that direction or completely overhauling and going for a HAS setup.

V1s all around and I clear our driveway better as it’s less rake and still looks good. No issues with ride quality. Perfect feel in sport setting for normal driving. with 12.5mm spacers no rubbing even with passengers.

I think there is a thread on here somewhere where a guy did just that. I also have a set of v1 rears sitting in a box that I'm never going to use so let me know and I will send them to you if you pay shipping.

HaHa. Thanks! As mentioned though, I have the V1s already! I read it somewhere as well but can't seem to find if it was good or bad lol

So what does the consensus seem to be for an F82 M4? The V1 springs look great on the F80 and fix the wheel gap that it comes from the factory with.

Comparing Eibach, H&R, MS, Swift, and EMD springs, it seems that Eibach Euro is the best one for what I want, which isn't the most amount of low but closest to stock feel with a bit of drop.

How has the long-term feeling been with these springs? I'll be putting them on my 2016 M4 non-comp with non-adaptive dampeners. Looking at part number E10-20-031-09-22

Part number is correct. Have the V1s on my M4 (non comp, no adaptive suspension) now for couple of months. Ride is slightly firmer than stock, but in a good way. Body roll is reduced, better turn in, less float at speed....would recommend without hesitation.

Most people have been buying from here it seems:

https://www.tunershop.com/shop/eibac...2-pro-kit.html

I'm still trying to decide between Euro V1 or MP HAS. I have a moonroof, so my hunch is that my ride height will be lower than those with the CF roof.

Is the extra $1000 and pain in the ass to install worth the ability to change ride height? Do people who have HAS ever adjust? I guess the benefit would be that you can customize the height all around. Don't care about corner balancing.

Corner balancing is the true benefit of adjustable coil-over springs. Isn't overly expensive and it's worth doing.

How is it a PITA to install? It's not. I'd always go with the BMW option simply because they've spent extra R&D on it.

I don't care about corner balancing because this isn't a track car.

So you're saying HAS aren't more involved than lowering springs?

Corner balancing isn't just for trackdays. If you drive 30mph to the shop and back, sure, won't matter to you.

Just a tip to everyone who scrapes and destroys their splitters:
I run the OEM M performance splitter on my M4. I have Öhlins road&track suspension and my clearance to the ground is 90mm's.
I decided to fabricate a little skidplate to protect the carbon splitter so i bought a sheet of black plastic, the same type cuttingboards are made of, fat and slippery. I took 5mm thickness. Then i used another M performnace splitter as a template and cut it out with a fine hacksaw, filed the edges, drilled some holes and screwede it into the carbon splitter. The flat head screws hooked really hard in the carbon.
it works amazingly good! If i hit the ground it just slides over and there is no damage to the splitter at all. Perfect!

Finally got around to installing the V1 front springs only this past weekend on my wife's F80 myself. The conservative drop eliminates some of the front wheel gap and perfect for daily driving especially since all the areas in San Diego we commute through are riddled with potholes and mountain high speed bumps. Going to have the V1 front springs settle in for a 100-200 hundred miles then get a wheel alignment and maybe new wider tires at that. Overall i'm very happy with the new ride height.

Would love to see pics. I am in SD and trying to decide between MP HAS or some other spring solution.

I have the front euro v1s and it's a perfect drop for daily driving like others have been saying as I don't scrape, but I do sometimes wish I had the option to go lower. Sorry that probably doesn't help

Quick snaps for now. A little hard to capture the ride height on a black on black vehicle due angles & lighting.

My ride height looks to be consistent with the others who posted their rides here on V1 fronts/stock rears. Still on stock Michelin 255/35r19(needs replacing) and 10mm wheel spacers up front. Planning to go up size the tires to 265/35 PS4S's so it'll probably fill in the wheel well a tad more.

Ideally I'd go a little lower up front with equal wheel/tire gap all around, but i'm getting up in age and just don't have the time to maneuver around obstacles anymore lol.

Feels like stock imo; felt comfortable on side streets and freeways. If I remember right, I saw somewhere in this forum that the V1 spring rates are very close to stock.

Another happy V1 install on a 14 non comp, springs feel great and the drop is perfect IMO. Supper happy and install was a piece of cake. 15mm front, 12mm rear spacers.

Just got my Euro V1s on this week and Kubax did the CS EDC coding today (plus some other stuff) and it is the perfect combo [for me]. The ZCP damper settings were a little harsh on the V1s, not bad but firm in all three settings. The CS coding made comfort a little softer (gentler rebound), sport is great and sport+ is like putting the car on rails. I can only imagine what a full expensive coil over system feels like, but damn, for what i spent, the turn-in is sick. The wheel gap is reduced and I can still clear everyday obstacles with my M Perf lip. Highly recommend this set up.

Get the coding at bimmer-remote.com
