BM3 FlexFuel kit install video

I installed mine and had a full tank of Ignite Red which is 90% ethanol and the OTS Multi Map starts without issues in cold weather. So far only down to 23F ambient in the mornings. We’ll see when it gets colder but seems great so far. I am really amazed by the workmanship in this kit. Its built so well and it is exactly as they say a breeze to install and remove later if ever needed.

That's great to hear. I can't wait to get mine in…hopefully this week sometime.

I'm glad PTF made this kit. I have had the MHD iteration for months now and was wondering when PTF would jump on the easy-to-install Flex party.

Do you have cold start and/or start-up roar enabled? That is what has been giving me issues on higher E concentrations.

When I enable cold start and start-up roar, the start-up is very choppy and the car stumbles. Sometimes the car will even stall out. If I disable both, there is no problems.

I have cold start off as its so loud but GTS startup roar is on and no issues.

I'm having this issue also, but i think its due to my plugs being old.... any insight anyone?

I'd try to log it happening and then open a ticket with PTF.

Mines' in, running MultiMap Stage 2. Threw a few gallons in the last fillup just to try it out. Ended up stabilizing to around e25.

Has anyone had any success adding their ethanol % to their BM3 dashboard? I can't find the parameters or channels anywhere

it should just work, hold down on the cruise control 1 click and it should just show up.

Oh, that works as expected.

I mean in reference to the BM3 app dashboard + logging channels.

In Datalog Config look on the Advanced RAM Channels (left of Other Channels). Then look down the list near the bottom (BM3 are after RAM).

Just flash with mobile and maybe use the about screen to reset log settings and you’ll see it.

My pic was screenshot from my iPhone 8.

See if turning your phone sideways gives you more tabs, and check to see if your view is Zoomed (my XHP requires Normal, zoomed view messes it up).

Maybe update your app, or make sure your loaded map is updated to CustomROM.

If you still have probs email PTF and let us know the fix.

Not sure why my posts are out of order, but resetting to defaults from the about screen did the trick.

On PC however, 'ADVANCED (RAM) CHANNELS' is still an empty pane. Not a big deal since I do everything via mobile but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Try that reset on your PC too. It clears old setup and gets you all fresh new stuff.
