I think the Miata driver was caught up in the pass he was allowing and never saw the other car coming in on his left side, but the Miata did make an aggressive move into the corner.

Standard, non-1LE? yeah, even showroom stock base ZL1 is quick as hell. Haven't run with one on SC3R.

Think it was standard, non-1LE and thanks for that correction - ZL1. Has to weigh over 4000 pounds, but held up to continuous hot laps, even in a hurricane sand storm.

I have a 2019 with the 7-speed and all the most recent cooling upgrades from GM. They're within expected temp ranges - I'm just not used to how hot these cars run. My only real nuisance is transmission temps. Titanium exhaust runs hoooot. Can't wrap it and shielding the transmission will trap its own heat. I've never hit max operating temps but it's definitely hot.
