VIN decode wasn't detailed enough - How can I find out what options my car has?

Waiting for my 2016 Yas M3 to arrive.

In the meantime I'm trying to figure out a few things. Hopefully the gurus can chime in.

If my car has adaptive Led headlights. Does it have executive package then? Or was that an option by itself.

How can I find out exactly what options the car comes with using the vin.

Thanks!

Have you tried here https://www.mdecoder.com

I believe 2016 had a lighting package that included adaptive LED. My 2015 had it.

Thank you! I don't see the park distance control button next to shifter so that means it does not have executive package.

It appears it has the lighting package. I'm good with that. I wanted a light car but the adaptive LED headlights one of the must haves.

Do you know if M performance exhaust was an option for MY 2016? And they only come titanium, I guess?

I have a 2016 M4 in Sakhir Orange. The Lighting Package was an option that includes adaptive LEDs.

The M Performance Exhaust (MPE) is a BMW M Performance Parts option. It is either port-installed or dealer-installed, or if you want, DIY, but not installed at the factory. I have it on my car and I installed it myself. There were two options for the four tips, one of which was carbon fiber tips. It is a titanium exhaust.

Congrats on your car! If you're not already a member, you should consider joining the BMW CCA. The San Diego Chapter is very active and we have autocrosses (just had one last weekend), track days (HPDS), backcountry drives, concours, and social events. Our website is sdbmwcca.com and has a calendar of upcoming events. We also have two Facebook pages (for some inexplicable reason) and events are posted there as well.

We have an upcoming drive on November 10, our "Highs to Lows Driving Tour", starting at BMW of Escondido for coffee and donuts and ending up in Borrego Springs for lunch: https://www.facebook.com/SanDiegoBMWCCA/?tn-str=k*F. We'll take the windiest, twistiest backcountry roads that East County has to offer! You should join us! I'll be in my Sakhir Orange M4 and my wife will be in her San Marino Blue M3. You don't need to be a member to do our backcountry drives, but if you decide to join, please use this link: www.bmwcca.org/join/444697

Well, that link no longer works like it's supposed to. Go to www.bmwcca.org/join and enter my membership number, 444697, in the referral box on the second page.
