I guess if I were to not pick, the silicon pipes are typically full size from points A to B. This is desirable from a flow standpoint but can be a tighter fit since they might be less formed than the OEM pieces or metal counterparts. I did have to trim the ends on my silicone pipes slightly to get them to hug the engine so I could fit the engine cover. Other than that minor extra work, no issues for me.

Does anyone know what the stock bolt size is for the turbo inlet? From what Im getting forms he OP is that they are M6 x something. Just found out mine wasn't bolted in after changing the turbos

Yeah the funky OEM BMW bolts with the lip/built in washer are M6

Meant to update this a while ago but forgot....
I ended up tapping the bolt housing to M7 (or 1/4") and haven't had a single issue since. Theyre on there SNUG and not moving. This probably isn't something for most owners, but it works...
