Is this for all four? If at the dealer makes sense.

$200?!?! Does that include the pads, brake sensor, install, and bedding? That's insane! It takes about 15 mins to change out all four. Literally all you need is a jack. Jack car up, open brake reservoir, pull wheel off, pop off two pins on caliper, pull old pads out, disconnect brake sensor, put sensor on new pads, squeeze caliper piston in, put new pads in, put pins in calipers, put wheel back on, torque wheel, and then bed brakes. Bed according to recommendation. If you were local to me I'd literally do it for free that's how easy it is. I'm not insulting your intelligence by any means. I'd rather invest that money into a jack if you don't have one and just DIY!

I can do all four myself in about an hour. They probably don't want to charge 100 so 200 is about right for all four with the M tax.

I found a shop that will do it for $150, so unless you are DYI, that seems to be the reasonable going rate in my area.

$200 seems reasonable and the going market rate. I called 3-4 places when I did mine a few months back. All quoted this amount via phone for an F80 sedan w/standard non-CCB brakes.

Funny enough the brake pads on the M are easier to change than a Honda Accord. With wheels off they take about 2 minutes - maybe less.

Agreed, as someone who does all his own work.... $200 for brake pads? On an M3? Buy 10, they're small.

I had brake pads, Fall Line oil cooler guard, and M Performance front lip and splitters, and wheel spacers done for less. Just the labor. At a highly respected Indy shop.
