Makes me miss my C63 AMG. I am not a fan of soft top convertibles but this doesn't look half bad. Although, if I were going C63 again, I'd get the coupe.

You gotta admit..the new Benzs (especially AMG cars) have the most beautiful interiors in comparison to both Audi & BMW.

That's the one, right there. If I were to get another four seat drop top, I think it would be pretty tough to choose the M4 over this one. But does Mercedes refuse to offer red and blue for this car in the US just like they do the C63 sedan? If so that's a major buzz kill.

Nice car. I"m not a fan of verts but I have always loved C63s. I wish I had an excuse to buy one.

I'm afraid to ask what the curb weight is.

Not lightweight I'm sure, but probably a lot closer to the corresponding M than the C63 coupe or sedan are.

Compared to the hard top vert M4 (4110lbs). The soft top C63 could actually be lighter or very comparable.

I think they are tacky as hell, not a fan at all. I prefer audi's approach best.

Nice looking car. This is only a guess, but I think BMW will move back to the softtop.

SCOTT has already asserted that this is exactly what they plan to do with the G23 4 Series and equivalent F9x M4. This doesn't mean it will happen for certain, but I would consider it very likely at this point.

Still prefer the coupe. Saw the regular version (AMG kitted) a few days ago and it looks absolutely stunning in person.

Love the soft top, I know the folding hardtop verts are more practical but I just dislike all the seams in the roof. Sorry my F83 brothers.

yup, that's the unfortunate truth about Mercedes. for same msrp for both Merc and BMW, lease on the BMW would be much less

I find my experience having owned a couple Merc's including a C63 that BMW is more expensive to finance/lease. The rates and such are always better on Merc's from what I can tell.

For a street only car, who cares?

And to an extent, for non competitive HPDE use, who cares? even a porky E63S wagon (4700+lb !!!) is huge fun at the track (IMHO anyway)
