4 things that I Hate about my BMW M4 Competition Package
In this Video I'll be talking about the 4 things that I Hate about my BMW M4 LCI Competition Package.
1- inconsistency in giving options and updates, BMW keep adding new features randomly (it is very annoying) especially if you thought u got the latest model u see in some weeks they have added a new feature! they should only work per year model or pre-facelift and facelift / competition package 2- Interior it starts to looks dated and much less impressive than the competition form Audi and Mercedes 3- No Standard M performance Parts, Standard M3/M4 are so plain and does not comes with any M performance parts and we have to purchase it all separately and the cost is crazy high! they should have a new package as an option or areo package etc... 4-Electronics Warning sounds, Seat belt, Speed limit, navigation sound etc... For Full Video please check my video on YouTube Channel --->

Those things aren't so bad.
I've had a Ford Focus RS Mk3 for nearly a year - and the TOP 4 things that I hate about that are: 1. Veering Steering. There's an inconsistent electronic intervention that makes the car weave around under acceleration at times. Dangerously so sometimes. Ford refuse to acknowledge there is an issue. 2. Engine problems. It took Ford far, FAR too long to acknowledge the issue and longer still to propose a full recall for a "fix" - which in turn is now taking forever to embody on all cars simply because Ford haven't provided stock to carry out the recall in a timely manner. Sucks. 3. Squeaking door frames. Over broken surfaces there is a noise that originates directly next to my right ear (RHD car) and also in the passenger's left ear. Drives me mental. 4. The hatchback thing. The rear window gets real dirty real quick. If you use the rear wiper it won't be long before the glass is badly scored from gritty deposits being dragged by the wiper. Clearly this isn't solely a RS problem, and affects pretty much all hatchbacks, but it's definitely worth mentioning that I really hate this. So, really, your M4 isn't that bad a car. And BMW isn't such an incompetent organisation as my own Ford customer experience Yours Aye Mark H

the f8x is now a parts bin car and they are trying to get rid of as many accessories as they can before the new m3/4 is released. While i agree there are too many "special" models now i see why they are doing it. Still love those wheels though in the dark color.
Now they have a CS and a Competition badge. its like.. just pick one already! The M2 should have been a CS badged car. the competition badge looks like that of mercedes now.

Hate's a strong word, bud.
1 - It's their right. Apple does it. Samsung does it. Everyone does it. Just imagine being a 2018 M2 owner paying sticker and then you see the legit M2 Competition being released with a closed deck M engine. Now THAT would suck to hold that bag. 2 - Respectfully disagree. C63 interior is plasticky and just like all other AMG models, won't age well at all. Audi, same deal. The most over-hyped interiors in the business. BMW and Porsche do it best from Germany. Tend to be the least stylized amongst the four big brands. The full leather option was a must for me, plus I have *all* the M interior bits. Palpable improvement. 3 - OK, but my USA '18 came with the full M perf aero parts port installed listed on the window sticker, and iirc in Canada, they have this thing called an Ultimate Package? 4 - Agreed - I had EAS here in California program all that stuff out in less than a minute along with other bits and bobs. May I humbly suggest that you go on a solo drive in a nicely optioned 991 GTS or GT3? It'll make your/my M4 feel like a 3 series taxi. You're no longer going to care as much about little LCI updates here and there. Onto bigger/better.

In other words, pay for perfection, you get perfection. We've got a lot of younger guys on this forum who've paid up for their first really nice performance car. Unfortunately they think that means they should get everything they want. Many here can't get their heads around the fact that they spent $70 or $80k, or more, for performance, not for every bell and whistle that their dad's (really nice) Honda Accord has. Understand the product you're buying. If you want more than it offers, go pay for something more. The equation's quite simple. btw, to my $126k base-priced Porsche, I spent $1035 for a back-up camera, $595 for voice control, $285 for those M4-like seat badges, and many, many other little things. But its total $152k price got me much closer to perfection than my (fabulous) $75k M4. As I say, the equation's quite simple.

We have the M-Performance Carbon Package offered for $4,400CAD/~$3,400USD on the F82 that includes the plastic front lip, CF front splitter covers, CF mirror covers, plastic side sill extensions, CF rear deck lid spoiler, CF diffuser, black front kidney grills, black side gills and black rear badge. One can also opt for the MPE with CF tips for $4,900CAD/~$3,700USD And then there is the Ultimate Package for $24,500CAD/~$18,900USD that includes almost every option (excluding DCT, CCB, CF interior trim and for some odd reason speed limit info) including the CP, MPE, M-Performance Carbon package and a selection of individual colours, which offers very decent value for someone looking to get into a fully loaded M3/4.
