New COBY Alcantara Steering Wheel Black with Blue Stripe

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
I just got this in from Coby wheel.

OEM F80 heated steering wheel refurbished by Mike @ Coby Wheel. Black Alcantara, M Tri Stitch, blue leather 12 o'clock stripe.

I never installed it, I actually haven't even touched it. It's still in the plastic wrap it arrived in. I decided I wouldn't put it in my wife's F85 since discovering she won't give up hand moisturizers. So I'm offering it for sale.

I have a COBY wheel without the stripe in my F80 and I can tell you they're as good if not better than the OEM accessory. Retains the heat function and the grip diameter is a little bit thicker.

Works in DCT or MT cars. The black plastic rear trim piece is what determines compatibility - not the wheel itself.

$530. Add $20 for shipping within the US.

Trying to understand pricing. Looks like after $300 core charge is returned for a good core, this sells for $250. Why the $530?

Because maybe you're like me and don't want to do a core so you can always go back to stock?

I have this wheel AND my original stock wheel.

Please acquire a steering wheel, send it to be recovered and returned to you and see if you are at $300.

I'm flexible but within reason.

Yeah, no way that math computes. You’re $250 for a wheel second hand, then Coby service with stripe is $250, and then shipping both ways. Looking at $540 all told.

Yup. I believe I'm under your calculations and I'm open to offers. Using your math people still need to get their thinking up.

BTW, I have had Coby's in my last 3 cars and they are solid. Its nice being able to handle everything through the mail. Im sure I could find an upholsterer locally, but who has time for all that?!
