I had 25 years of experience in drag racing.
I saw several times similar cars not always more hp on Dyno is quicker at 1/4 mile.
We dynoed that car and make 733whp in September.

No one rides a dyno chart!

Dyno's are a GREAT tool, but they don't show lag or real world conditions very well. Trap speed is more indicative of power output, ET is more indicative of driver skill (and car being set up correctly).

1.5 60 foot is insane! Muchas felicidades Lucho!

Many people overlook the launch. More to it then just lower tire pressure and play with launch rpm. You can play with different spring rates and also add some weight in the rear to help get that bite off the line.

I think the car could run 9.80 before 2020 without any more parts.

I don't doubt it, you have all the right parts. Any plans for 1/2 mile? Should trap 170mph as is.

My issue is when I mod, I want bite but drag radios are too unsafe for 1/2 mile. Launch hard for 1/4 but, too unsafe for 1/2 or 0-100 terrible but good 1/2 trap speed. What if you can launch decent and still run it all the way to the 1/2 should that be faster?

car had run 171mph past September 1/2 mile event with 98F ambient temp
