I’ve had 2 M3’s and now an M4, and I love being back in a coupe. The whole feel from a 2 door is just nicer. Even though they drive the same. You can’t shake the feeling your in a saloon car.
I also feel that the M3 now looks a little dated, as it’s quite boxy. The arches are sexy as hell though.

You'll be happy with either one. They're both gorgeous, and there is zero performance difference between the two. I recommend finding the best combination of features for a given price point, and then pulling the trigger. Happy Hunting.

Weekend car is usually a coupe. However I think the M4 looks like a 440i at times. The M3 looks better imo. I personally don’t like coupes either so for me it’s simple. M3 w a 6mt.

OP should try searching before posting. This has been discussed in other threads for the last four+ years. You're late to the party...

So you're saying that you did search, read everyone's opinion since the car was introduced, and that wasn't enough, you want new opinions from people who've just bought the car in the last six months? Or are you just too lazy to search?

M3 all the way. In my life my weekends consist of shuttling my kiddos around and golfing.
And family stuff. M3 makes it easier for passengers to get in and out of. I also have an F150 supercrew I use for commuting and such and sometimes I just wanna drive something sportier around that’s practical to boot! |

M4 for sure. 5 reasons
1. Looks sportier (imo at least) 2. That back seat is plenty big enough for 2 adults. I've gone on road trips with 4 people and they commented on how much more comfortable it was than they thought it would be. 3. Front door opening is bigger on the M4 4. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm fairly certain the F80 is slightly lighter 5. 90% certain the trunk is also bigger |
