BM3 E30 Tune Vs Stage 2

So i’ve been running BM3 E30 Stage 2 tune for over a month now and i’m on the edge about it honestly. I feel as if there’s barely any difference from the car since it was already Stage 2 prior and it also has less aggressive pops and bangs because of the ethanol. What do you guys think, better off just going back to 91 Oct. Stage 2 for the convenience?

I like the E30 better but you should go with the one you are most comfortable with

I daily the E30 and love it. The only way I could "go back to" gas again is with a Paul Custom.

You should get a bend calibration ECA2 flex sensor, its really cool and you can see the E percent on the dash and i have tried it with E35 and its at E55ish now. I can feel i decent different between 93stg2 and 93stg flex with E30-E55.

In the past i would run the 93 tune or my full E85 tune...

Why did you decide to go with flex fuel vs e85?

I'm on e85 and was debating about going flex fuel until I saw it cost $1000 for the bend calibration kit.

If you just get the sensor kit and not the fuel filter kit I think it's like $600.

I have both tunes. On my E85 tune I have to test the gas every time as mine is a 80% ethanol target. With the flex I just pull up fill up and I'm done. I will switch to the E85 tune this summer.

I specifically asked my tuner about this when we updated my 93oct and E85 tunes into a multi-map setup.

The reply was that running FF on a custom tune for straight pump gas or full E85 won't provide any improvements. The major benefit is when running variable pump/ethanol blends, as the FF integration helps adapt to situations where the E-content varies greatly (ie - running OTS E30 tune and mix a tank to E50).
