Unboxing an Eisenmann Heritage Exhaust System for the F8X Platform

Hello Members,

First of all let me say Wow! those tips. Ok there has been a good amount of feedback here on the board already on this system as well as a few others. had the chance to install a system for the team at Autocouture a few weeks ago and took a few pictures. We will be sharing sound clips, etc later on but right now we just want to share a few pictures we are able to grab while opening up the system for a local install. Eisenmann does a great job with presentation and the overall packaging of the system. The system getting to you safely is the first step. Definitely a step up from previous platforms and it shows the amount of time that was put into developing this system (kudos to the team from Eisenmann NA as well). If you have any questions on the system feel free to ask. With several options out their for your M we are confident this is a good contender and look forward to sharing our feedback on more systems in the near future.

Eisenmann Rear Muffler (Valve):

Big fan of how the mufflers are not visible from the rear, good idea.

Do you have only the eisenmann muffler or the complete system. I am also Looping for a exhaust System and i am not sure what i take.

1. Eisenmann muffler with einsenmann midpipe = for me Perfect Sound

2. Eisenmann muffler with oem midpipe and eisenmann downpipes = i think better performance, Sound???

3. Eisenmann muffler with eisenmann resonated midpipe and eisenmann downpipes = i think also better performance, Sound???

I really want the downpioes because in my 335i the Motor became much more aggressiv with the downpipes and thats i want also for the m but i want also a Sound which i heared from eisenmann exhaust like Version 1

Looks Great ! I would love to hear your thoughts on how the slip-on sounds...love to hear it too. Would you say you are happy with it ? or is it too similar to stock ad needs the mid-pipes ?

The 3 one is the best choice!
Better performance plus deeper sound.

The client was running Stock Mid Pipes and Catless downpipes. I am a fan of the sound but I am also of the full system (have not heard in person), need to do some more comparison between stock and modded and share my feedback.

Jimmy, did you ever consider just the axle back paired with the downpipes? I think this is the route I will end up doing on my M4 but can't seem to find any videos anywhere.

I didn't, when I ordered the system I had no clue they were doing DPs as well. I am afraid the DPs would be to loud for me so I decided to go with full system first then see how that sounds then if its not Crazy loud I would go with DPs as well.

I wonder what the DP and axle back with stock mid pipe would sound like? No one is running that set up as far as I know. You could be the first!!

I had slip-on, slip-on with downpipes, catback and full system with resonated center on my 335i and 1m cars. So with the same engine n54 I really like the full system more than others. I mean downpipes+resonated center pipe+muffler. The sound was awesome, the car felt easier to spull and better throttle response. That is why I think that the full system is the best choice.
