I got a good deal through Erika Eggo at BMW Portland. Kuni wouldn't budge from MSRP...and was smug about it.

Another vote for David at BMW PORTLAND. He gave me a very competitive price on my M3 as well. It's on it's way to the dealer from Port Hueneme now. Hope to pick it up this weekend or middle of next week. David has been very easy to work with and always responsive to my emails.

Kuni has the most inventory and has approx 3 allocations for March. Portland has none until May and Salem claims to be able to "get" an allocation from another store. All have been very easy to work with and responsive.

I've also reached out to Bellevue and Seattle. Bellevue doesn't have any allocations and Seattle claims that the Seattle market is selling at MSRP. I'm still working with them to see how low they're willing to go. A former CA in Bellevue told me to try higher volume SoCal and AZ dealers as they have more allocations and possibly better pricing.

I hope to stay local and spend my $ here in PDX. Will keep you all posted.

If anyone has any suggestions for April/may allocations with good pricing, I'd appreciate any insights.
Update: after my journey as stated above, I ended up buying my M3 from Mitch Allee at Kuni. While I was looking for an allocation for a custom car, he gave me an awesome deal on a pretty loaded car on the lot.

MSRP $76,970
Negotiated price $74,470 ($2930 over inv)
Final cap cost $70,470 after incentives ($770 under invoice)

I know many forum members will say to negotiate the sales price before incentives, but based on my experience, I think I got a great deal. I welcome any comments on this. My suggestion for all is to befriend your CA and try to get to know the GM and GSM. They will go to great lengths to satisfy their customers!

Great choice. I actually looked at that car. Only reason I didn't make a deal is I wanted a DCT. We will be twins next week in PDX 👍

Interesting. Then it must be one they had just got in. The one I'm thinking had a manual and was SO interior and it's still there. How do you like the car so far?

So far so good. Just picked it up last night, so it's too soon to tell. It drives much tamer than my e90, however, the startup this morning was loud and raspy! Since I leave around 5am, I felt like I would wake up the whole house!

Lol. That's funny as I leave at 5 as well. Wife used to hate nice days when I drove my saleen to work :-)

Haha. Luckily my wife sleeps through it. My neighbors may not, though! Let's meet up when you pickup your F80.

I bought mine from Eric at Portland BMW. Kuni has always been rude and condescending. Ive been buying from Portland since they were Rassmusen. They had 2 F82's in stock in March. Mineral White fully loaded and Daytona Violet basic options. While I liked the violet, it reminded me of the dodge neon purple from years back and it was a $5000 individual color. So since they were both the same price i got the fully loaded MW car. Portland has awesome service and called me several times after to make sure i was happy with the car and having fun. I miss Lee though. He was awesome.

Congrats! I purchased my M3 from Mitch at Kuni. Went to BMW of Portland first, along with Seattle and Salem, but got a bitter deal and treatment from Kuni. They do my servicing and M Performance Exhaust install.

Lee? Last time I was at Kuni Lee was the sales manager.

I would NOT recommend KUNI.

I have purchased several cars from them. BUT I WOULD NOT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. (Lots of reasons, which I won't go into here, but having purchased 19 new cars over the past 27 years and several at Kuni, and having taken my cars to Kuni for service 16 years, I have a lot of experience with them).

Go with Kendall of Bend (they are great) or just call David Avilles at Pacific BMW of California.

Remember, you can order a car from anyone. I.E. Call David Avilles of Pacific. He gets a lot of folks great deals, and the car can still be delivered to your local BMW dealer. Or you can pick it it at the BMW performance school for free in California. That's what I'll do next time.
