Best thing I have done to my car so far. It is an amazing upgrade! It feels like I got all of the GTS power and sounds/gauges for a fraction of the cost. I agree with Huan's take on this - it takes a little to get used to so much more accessible power! The back end can kick whenever you want it to. The 6mt downshifts are sick. Kelly and Achtuning are so pro and great to work with - this is a no brainier. Will post more as I drive it more!

Yeah, same here...it's the most noticeable upgrade I've done to my car in terms of raw performance, coming from an AFe piggy-back that increased boost to +4 lbs across the RPM band.

Huge props to Kelly and the guys at Achtuning, always giving the extra mile and very helpful thru the whole process...the BBQ they had on Thursday was a nice plus

Had a chance to put around 500 miles on the weekend (road trip to La Push and Port Angeles), loving the GTS burble that last forever after you lift the gas pedal, the super fast downshifts and how snappy the shifts are with the increased DCT clamping force with the TCU flash...and that mid range torque!

If anyone is doing a meet or CC I'm willing to give test drives so you can finally decide

Just got the tune done today and absolutely love it! Only drove it about 40 miles but the stage 1 tune along with the tcu tune is great! Big thanks to vf, Kelly and achtuning!

Three solid reviews in a row ...
Pak317, HuanLeBrown, and seattlesteve
Thanks guys!

Glad you were able to make it out and put Achtuning and HEX Tuning to the test.

For everyone else, if you didn't get a chance to make an appointment while we were in town, Kelly and the rest of the team at Achtuning are all set up and equipped to do HEX Tuning ECU and TCU software on-site, same day, going forward!

Just a heads up, even though the HEX Tuning Flashing Days have come and gone, Achtuning is fully set up and trained to do on-site flashing at their facility!

They are currently taking appointments for HEX Tuning ECU and TCU software upgrades and have HEX Flash User Cables in-stock.

Really interested, but it will have to wait until early next year. Too many house projects at the moment...

I'll be very curious to find out long term effects, if any, and how BMW handles it during regular servicing.

Very interested in this as well. Any plans for Portland? If not will look to drive to Seattle. How long is the install? Thanks
