666s are heavy and ugly IMO so that is the easy part.

Money no object my vote would be for BBS FI-Rs.

Signature SV701......although I love me some FI-Rs and Rays also. There's really an abundance of good wheel choices these days.

It's tough to find a 19" aftermarket wheel that looks good on this car without having to be slammed

Mines hardly "slammed", just M Performance HAS spring kit, only a slight drop really, perfectly fine for daily driving duties. Just gotta be a little more cautious on steep driveways and such. But yes, the stock front gap has to go, on any wheel imho.

19" BBS FI-R in Diamond Black. They are a bit dusted on there which is the discoloration in the second picture (need a new wheel cleaner that doesn't rust the rotor, because that rust likes to stick to the wheel), and dropped it a bit since that last pic.

Not dusted when they were clean:

I love BBS on BMW. I need to make up a set of BMW caps like the guy with FI-Rs. I ordered a set of red BBS caps but his custom jobs look so nice.

Full write-up on fitting these CI-R's:

We might be a bit biased here. If you're looking for a great 19" setup for street and track use we would recommend the following fitment:

Front: 19x10" ET25 with 275/30-19 tires
Rear: 19x11" ET44 with 305/30-19 tires
  • Brake clearance: SB CCB
  • Available in SM-10 design only.
  • 5mm front spacers may be required for certain aftermarket suspensions
  • Front 19x9.5" ET22 wheel can be used to avoid running spacers with certain aftermarket suspensions due to its superior inner clearance.
  • 315/25-19 rear tires may also be used, but may require rolled rear fenders and/or negative camber.
  • Rear 295/30-19 tires can also be used.

Alternatively, we have another staggered fitment that is much closer to the OEM fitment, listed below:

Front: 19x9.5" ET22 with 255/35-19 tires
Rear: 19x10" ET25 with 275/35-19 tires
  • Brake clearance: SB & CCB
  • Available in ARC-8, EC-7, and SM-10 designs only.
  • Direct fit.
  • 265/35-19 front tires may also be used.

If you have any other questions, feel free to shoot us a PM! We've got more than a few great 19" options for the F8x M3 and M4 chassis, stock or modified!

All the pics in this thread with 19s proves Domino's point. The car needs to be lowered to make it work aesthetically.

Nevertheless OP, having larger sidewalls makes a significant difference in day to day driving with OEM setup, even with EDC.

I have a subtle drop on my tractive edc suspension

This is at min drop, I could go lower but taking travel out of the shock will start to defeat purpose of seeking a more comfortable ride

The tractive shocks have sorted the dampening, but what I still get is the harshness from potholes, road reflectors, train tracks, coarse bitumen etc from that 30 series sidewall

I'm picking up a set of loaner oe 19s this weekend to test out

OEM 763M in 19s staggered
Buy the M2C fitment
OE quality, looks like the BBS and much cheaper for forged wheels

FI-R

My car is disgusting, sorry -- washing it today. Damn cosmoline keeps dripping from the doors and staining the skirts. Need drop in front too.

But: FI-Rs are just f'n bananas on these F80s. 19s in satin black here.

Yep I've decided to go rc100

Did you ever run a 19x10/11 setup

Do I just let HRE work out the offsets?

I want to replicate this fitment on the laptime performance car

This matching set of classics we ordered for a friend/customer of mine were 19x10/11

I dialed in the fitment for him

265/30/19 | 295/30/19

No rubbing
