I should probably have stated a bit more clearly what I meant by "Rustopper doesn't do it for me".

It does significantly reduce the amount of rust if it is applied (like you seem to do) each time the rotors get wet. If you are just washing the wheels, it is a good solution.

But if you are washing the wheels and then the rest of the car, you have to keep applying it (and wiping off the excess) multiple times. In the end, this doesn't save me any time compared to just going for a short drive after washing and drying the car to clear the rust from the rotors and then wiping the wheels with a microfiber cloth and a detailer.
I wash my wheels/tires first, cover them with old towels to stay dry, then wash/dry my car. Take the towels off the wheels then apply griot's garage vinyl rubber dressing (not supper glossy but doesn't fling black spots onto the paint).
I know all of this is a bit of a process but this is my garden, my zen. This is my time to crank some tunes, drink some beers and escape for a bit.

Damn! Taking no chances with 5 locks on that wheel.

I just dry the car with an Absorber (fake chamois) and a uber thick drying MF towel and take the car for a spin down the street for a mile or so, and it dries off the wheels/rotors no problem - or at least close enough that I never get rust.

Did any of you guys try different brake pads to see if that helps? I have other Mcars and this is the only one that gives this much orange/rust flinging that coats the inside of the wheel.

Ordered some Akebono Euro pads. They are supposed to be low dust and much easier to clean and stay clean longer.

I swapped to Akebono's two weeks ago, and they're a game changer when it comes to how much less dust collects over time - all I do is hit my wheels with the power washer to clean them up these days.
