When will ConnectedDrive support Apple Music?

Does anybody know if there is any news concerning the support for Apple Music in the BMW ConnectedDrive?

Last time I used Pandora it worked flawlessly.

Kinda wish there was better Google Music Support.

Flawlessly using what?! Bluetooth? Android? Ipod? Snap-In interface?? I have never been able to use the word Flawlessly in the same sentence as iDrive before so I am curious...

I don't use that app. I just plugged in my phone and launched Pandora; but I've found Pandora to be a piece of shit so I've only used it for a week.

Spotify works nice but we are a family of 6 members (wife and I and 4 kids) and Apple Music was considering the price 15 euro/month for 6 and the fact that we have a lot of Apple devices the logical choice. I loved how I could easily play music from Spotify and upvote/downvote it using iDrive.

I mean Apple Music in combination with iDrive works but the interface lacks a lot of the features.

Apple Music works fine. I have my iPhone 6S in the snap in adapted and it plays any iTunes Radio or Apple Music playlists like any other playlist.

It does not however let you browse the Apple Music 'store' you have to have added a playlist previously.

Spotify is a bit tricky, never tried Pandora.

I'd likely be able to see the album art. I've had CIC and now NBT and the album art rarely shows. Apple Music works fine, however I have issues with soundcloud pausing randomly and going back to itunes.

My Apple Music app plays though Bluetooth on my 15' M4, shows album art and allows for the track to be skipped etc. on my car it does not need to be plugged in via USB.

I switched back to Spotify for the time being. I just love the fact that I can use the Spotify ConnectedDrive app.

From my understanding, it's not that ConnectedDrive doesn't work with Apple Music, it's that Apple Music doesn't work with ConnectedDrive. As far as I know, that's Apple's issue to fix?

Yes, I guess you are right. The Apple Music app needs to support this.

And I'm sure BMW would allow it too - by that, I mean they won't allow me to integrate our app because we're "too small" but I'm sure Apple would be a big enough player for them to accept.

Seems to be working incrementally better for me with each update. Works fine as long as I don't flip around between apps (Pandora, Anazon Music, Spotify, etc). Running a iPhone 6 if that matters.

Honestly we aren't missing out. CarPlay in its current form is total crap and makes using a info system a total nightmare. And this is coming from an Apple fanboy

Who cares about CarPLay... we need standard/normal integration... I can easily launch Spotify/Pandora from my Chevy Volt via bluetooth connection with my Android based phone but can't do the same with this system?! What a joke...
