My bet is that speed and handling will make most forget how odd the car sounds.

Myself included. I must be softening up, b/c I'm starting to like the coupe's shape. I'm hoping the rear fenders look even more flared in person.

Now - if I could just get over the iPad stapled to the dashboard.

you act like BMW is the only one who makes performance cars.
There are still cars made today that have speed, handling and sound.

like C7 vette. or if you want a 6 cylinder go grab a 911. those cars seem to have very nice exhaust sounds.

A C7 or 911 doesn't fit the parameters for someone that needs usability (..and I hope that I don't have to define usability for the context in which I'm using the term). Nice try though.

I think I'm part of the silent majority who like the sound. However, I hope I'm wrong and most don't like it and don't buy one forcing BMW to discount the M3 due to slows sales and I get a better deal. A win-win for everyone.

What is going on with all of the arguing for the sake of arguing? If you guys are going to call out someone, at least have an intelligent response. Stupidity is infectious these days. Sedan......we are on the same page brother!

usability ?

look for next gen CTS V. going to have either a turbo V8 or sc V8.

should blow the doors off the M5... i mean M3. not to mention a V8 rumble to fit the price tag.

Usability does not refer to power.

I guess you should have posted the definition after all. And just to be clear, the CTS-V is not the direct competitor to the M3. It is based towards killing the M5 market.

i really thought when he said usability he was talking about being about to drive it everyday and use it for more than a sports car.

because its truly beyond me how someone could see a 911 or C7 vette is being to much power or car for the streets.

I believe he was referring to your CTS-V having a twin turbo V8 comment. Plus, those two cars are pretty useless for anything but driving to work with a briefcase and maybe a gym bag. That is not usable in my opinion.

I don't understand what is up with all the arguments... You don't like the car fine, you want to state your opinion fine... But to compare and tell the People that actually like this car and want to buy it stupid... Well just shut it and go buy the car that is better than this tin can called M3. What a waste of fucking 7 pages. The people that like it want to talk about the car, not have a penis contest. Cadillac v8 turbo? Beats M5? Great, get off this site and go to the caddy site and buy one and stop stirring shit up for no reason and keep your stupid immature comments to your self... Yeah we can't handle sports cars anymore, I am glad you can so go write a book.
