M Badge on seat

Hi guys, I just bought a new to me 2018 F80 on Saturday. I'm super excited to finally own my dream car. I'm learning as I go. I just learned that the M badge on the seat lights up. However, only my Driver seat badge lights up - could the passenger seat badge be faulty or is there some sort of setting that I'm missing? Thank you!

Still under warranty? If so take it to the dealer. There are no settings, it should just work.
