Been back and forth between these two wheels for tracking my M4 ZCP. Anyone with either or both chime in with your experiences, pros and cons?

When available, planning for 18x10 ET25 fronts, 18x11 ET44 rear. I want to be able to fit 275/35/18 and 305/35/18 Nitto NT01. Both forge offerings are within a pound of each other per wheel so it's not too bad.

I like the looks of the TS5 but question it's reliability/track record (pun intended) due to its slender spokes and relatively new to the track scene. I like apex's proven performance and ability to use OEM caps. Any experience appreciated. Torn on both! Help!!

I have the 19 inch ts5 wheels and they perform great on track and the canyons. I track about 4-6 times a year and canyon about 2-3 times a month. I also daily drive my car and beat the snot out of it. Works great!

Are you a track rat or race car driver timing yourself constantly and trying to shave off .1 second from your lap times? If not, I’d just get the cheaper of the two.

Not a track rat at all but certainly could become one in the future

Good to know your TS5's are holding up without issue. I think the price point between the two are not too far off from one another.

I'm actually into the Arc8s as I always wanted that rim if I got a BMW. After getting the F80 that came with the 18 inch 513m wheels, I wanted 19 inch wheels to fill the wheel gap and got a great deal through Autotalent for the titans. So got those than the ar8s. I should have gotten the 18s, but it just looked too small. Now I don't care and want 18s. =)

Get whichever wheel you want but I'd be more worried about brakes and tires. New pads and fluids are definitely needed as this car is big, heavy and loves to not stop on the stock hardware.

Actually you know what? If I were to do it all again, I'd just get two sets of regular Apex wheels. one with better track tires and the other with MP4S tires. Daily and track set.

Shouldve done that.

Any noticeable steering/handling differences between your titans vs what your car came with? I'm on stock 20" 666M wheels from the ZCP package. I would assume by switching to lighter 18" that the steering response or handling will feel more responsive?

I only tracked my car once so far and I'm hooked. Want a set of dedicated track setup and use the 666M for street.

Definitely I will upgrade my pads and fluids (maybe even SS lines) and eventually suspension/camber plates.

I recommend skipping the NT01s and going straight to RE71Rs, goodyears, A052. Either 18s or 19s.

Ditto on re71
I'm running Titans 18s and the difference between them and 437ms are night and day
Can't even imagine how much better they'd be going from those 666m boat anchors

Wow really? I can only imagine the difference going from 666M to 18 forged wheels then lol. Can you elaborate about the differences?

Big fan of the Titan7s. While they are relatively new to the market, they bring a long history and experience in the wheel manufacturing industry to their current product line.

had Titans for a while but because I wanted to run 305 rear went with Apex SM10
weight difference is night and day

now that car is not being tracked i am back on 666m

for track duty get titans.
apex just came out with their forged version of wheels so not sure how they hold up yet
but their cast offerings won't last me a season without bending

Check the warranty on both of them. I think Apex is switching to a lifetime warranty if I recall correctly? Not sure of the fine print, but maybe help you break a tie if you’re undecided.

It may have also been tires but steering weight is much better in sport
Turn in was the biggest change in my opinion, crisper and more precise
Acceleration and braking improved noticeably as well
