Tips for 1/4 mile

What's up everyone.

My buddy is having his 30th birthday at the 1/4 mile strip. I have never ran any car down a drag strip before. Just looking for some tips, I am not expecting to do well or have a good time.

My car is a 2016 M3 6 speed manual. Full bolt on BM3 OTS stage 2. The car is currently on stock wheels with all season tires since it is fall here.

I was looking for any tips of launching the car (what RMP). Also what modes to put it in (M1,M2, traction control on/off) Ect Ect. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

All season tires plus power adders? I’d launch at 1500rpm and short shift into 2nd. It’s going to be a smoke show with dsc off in 1st and 2nd otherwise

Sport Plus everything, DSC off, and I would try grabbing 2nd at around 5-5.5k, 7k thereafter.
