Exhaust leak?
I just installed a 3 inch VRSF downpipe. I'm just paranoid because I'm hearing about exhaust leaks and I'm not familiar with them so I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this sounds like I have a leak or not.
Thanks guys! |

We took the ones that were on there off and slide them back on the other ones. It took some effort but we got them put over the downpipes to midpipe connection. We did it in this connection order. Downpipe, metal plate, that crush gasket, midpipe. This is all assuming a crush gasket is like a silvery, metal looking soft ring that was around the downpipe. Not fairly familiar with a crush gasket.

Exhaust leak would make a your exhaust really loud. That is the natural sound of downpipes, empty Coke can rattle.

Replace your gaskets. They're one time use because they get crushed to create a seal. Hence the name crush gasket.
No one knows for sure from a video If you have a small leak. |
