Rev Match Active in Sport+ Throttle Setting?
I have 6MT and while driving today in Sport+ throttle, my car did the auto rev match on downshift. It happen twice while exiting the highway, then when I got into stop and go traffic the rev match went back to being inactive (didn't change any settings just left it in sport+ throttle as I wanted to test).
Has anyone ever experienced this? Wondering if I need to bring it in to the dealer...again. Thanks |

I found the same. Sometimes rev match sometimes not. I think its how aggressive and firm you shift. The consistent pattern I found is you have to do an aggressive search and it works.
I thought I read rev match didn't work in sport+ but it surely does. EDIT: I was mistaken. I have NOT had rev match work when in sport plus. I had my setting mixed up.

I have never had sport+ auto rev match. Neither have I ever had efficient or sport NOT auto rev match. On my car, for better or worse, it functions exactly as intended.
I wish BMW would have just gone w/ a button that enables and disables it so we can choose when, and in what mode, we want to use auto rev match. |
