Thanks man. They didn't have an explanation. My guess is that BMW took both of our cars back to the factory for diff repair and once that was completed put standard German plates on our cars for a post diff "test" ride. That's most likely when our plates went "missing". What's interesting is that both of our cars were shipped with the rear Euro plate frame but no Zoll plate. Oh well. What can we do. Car is amazing! We've had many BMWs but this is our 1st M. Absolutely love the car. I play Tennis Sunday mornings and I'm leaving early so I can go on a JOY ride.

i have my car still in the shop but i'm at 750 miles. they may do the break in today!!!

570 now...drove really out of the way to dinner last night.

It's funny because I just had the conversation with my tint guy regarding ceramic vs standard. I ended up going standard 20% like I always do. I've never had an issue and these guys are awesome.

I'm happy to report that I'm probably one of the last owners on Tortugas to finally take delivery this week. My M4 had to spend some time in Halifax for MPE and a bunch of M Performance goodies to get installed.

I take delivery on Wednesday so I'll post some pictures soon.

How do you get away with this in Jersey. I'm no thug but I have bad experiences with north jersey cops and tints. And have u guys gotten tickets for no front plate as well?

When I've done tint in the past, I never went darker than 35% and I've usually had lighter interiors so it didn't compound the darkness.

For front plates - as long as the car is newer and not too flashy ie: white/black BMWs, they don't bother you, unless you drive your car in a town with really bored cops.

I ran no front plate in my 2015 WRB STI for well over a year and never got pulled over. Cops didn't even take a 2nd glance at me.

In all these years of driving I've only been hassled one time for tint. A local village cop with nothing better to do pulled me over and ran the light meter on the window. Otherwise they don't bother with that BS here on Long Island.

This is my 1st time with no front plate. I'm actually gonna run with the Zoll plate on the front and have the rear numbers/letters on the NY plate match the front Zoll numbers/letters. I like the look
