Rough Idle, Noisy Injectors + Whooshing!!

Hello again lovely people,

My M4 has developed a rough idle, noisy injectors and under acceleration it’s down on power and makes a whooshing sound that sounds like a boost leak??!

I haven’t got any warnings or lights at all.

I’m thinking it could be a blowing charge pipe or maybe the charge cooler is cracked??

Any advice?

Thanks

Get under the hood and inspect parts for potential boost leaks/cracks. Seems like you've got an idea of what's wrong.

I do but I’ve got no CEL and have had no warnings at all but there’s a massive decrease in power, horrible whoosh noise under boost and the injectors seem to be very noisy!

Loose/split pipe - have you tried reading any codes from the OBD etc.

Without looking or properly diagnosing, I'd say it's probably cracked charge pipe(s)....

I did initially and they said it was ‘normal’. Obviously isn’t. Guess just because it’s bit thrown any CEL. Defoe down in power and a boost leak there but I’ve checked the charge pipes and can’t pinpoint any obvious boost leaks
