Worth buying replica 666 20inch wheels?
Hello, sorry if this has been asked before but is it worth getting replica 666m wheels from somewhere like ebay?
Has someone done this before, what's the fitment like? Or is it just a false economy? I was just thinking of buying the wheels and getting the tyres separately for my 2016 M3 Thanks |

Personally I wouldn't buy replicas - you don't really know what quality they are.
Have a look on EBay/here/M3cutters I'm sure you'll find a decent set for sale..

I'd only consider them for a set of winter wheels as for me that means they'd not be on the car long as I am in the southwest. You do get what you pay for - saw a replica 763M that had a puncture and the nail smashed through the barrel & it did look like very thin and cheap cast material. They are cheap to buy but are then pretty much worthless whereas you can buy and sell genuine wheels without losing money if you are savvy - but obviously they do cost a lot more - £2800 is the target price for new 763Ms with Cup2s for example. I bought 763Ms and sold my 666M Blacks (one needed a refurb from a slight graze) and it cost me nothing ignoring the cost of tyres (my tyres were worn out)... Just keep an eye out for someone selling a good set - a set of 666M Blacks rim only would be around £2000 - silver should be a fair bit less...

Stuart is a great seller so +1 to the above
If you do still fancy reps, then I'd suggest you speak to Liam or Chris at CM Wheels The various M3/M4 Facebook forums also have some good wheels for sale…

I had 437m reps on my 335d and they were terrible
Just before i sold my car i fitted a new set of 666m reps. I cant really comment on reliability of them as i only drove it from the fitters to my house then the car sold. But, visualy they were great. I wouldn't fit them to my M |
