Loud popping and banging from exhaust when downshifting after installing BM3

Jk, I didn't see a thread for burble settings. I'm running the CS+ tune and I have the burble set to agg 5 duration 1.5 in sport + I'm pretty happy with it but I think I'll raise the agg to 8 see how that goes, just wondering which settings you like. I don't like flashing tunes often so it's not something I want to experiment with so I wanted to see if I could get recommendations.

PS I know a lot of folks hate burbles, please save your comments.

I’m running the Stage 1 tune and I’ve experimented between 3 and 7. I settled on 3. I’d go higher if it gave me more pops and gunshots (I like them—and as a bonus, they scare and annoy people), but I found that after flashing BM3, I mostly just get burbles. I like burbles, but is didn’t feel it was worth it to put the extra wear on the cats just for burbles. Oddly, I got more pops and gunshots on the stock and ESS tunes. It’s my only disappointment with BM3.

I think that since BM3 gives the option to modify duration and aggression, its just a matter of dialing in the right setting for the right burble sound, not sure though.

I'm running stage 2, full exhaust, catless, etc…and I've found the following settings are perfect at least for myself — got sick of the nonsense burbles/overrun all the time. Had VF's Hex Stage 2/2+ previously in Sport+ it was beyond obnoxious, friends on rallies would tell me they couldn't hear sh*t when they were behind me.

If you go up to 10/12 you'll find it gunshots a lot more often, maybe every 3rd or 4th burble

After the BM3 flash did ASD (active sound design) come on? I have an F83 and am interested to see what BM3 is like with ASD?
Did you play with that setting. I'd appreciate some feedback. Thanks

One of the first things I did when I got the car was coded ASD out with Carly, so I really don't know what it sounds like, just not interested in fake anything.

honestly have someone drive your car and follow them. report back on how you feel about extreme burbles

Last summer I followed an M6 that had these going off every second and they lasted for what feels like forever. Shocked me how much I hated even the fact that I was associated with this person driving next to them. Took the next exit I was so embarrassed.

The Cherry Bomb exhaust for today's generation....

I remember when I installed the BM3 and used the Stage 1, 93 OCT. That burble setting was insanity--couldn't live with it being that aggressive. I've been trying to find a decent but short burble setting. I just went back to stock (ZCP) burbles and it has been good enough with the Remus (non res) exhaust. People are going to snap their necks regardless.
