Dinan HAS vs KW HAS
Hey so picking up a used M3 and it's currently got the Dinan HAS kit. I was wondering what the differences were between the two kits. I'm familiar with the KW kit but not to familiar with the Dinan setup.

Check the sticky. Has lots of info. I have the MSS , no complaints other than it seems it’s harsh on bumps. I put it in comfort and all good. I would recommend m perf.

the spring rates are different between the two systems. Dinan is 50% more than OEM in front and 10% more than OEM in the rear. Not sure about the others.

I have the Dinan HAS installed on my CS and so far no issues. Feels good, no weird undulation of the suspension that I felt when it was stock height during off camber turns and its stiffer but not teeth shattering. I wish HAS kit would go lower but then my front lip would suffer a tragic death lol. What M3elmo stated above is correct.
I run sport mode on suspension all the time and feels great, have yet to try sport + or comfort.

Thanks. Yea I saw the spring rate of the dinan kit but not the kw kit. Did some reading on the kit and definitely seems like the dinan kit is the way to go. Glad it's preinstalled on my car, lol.
During the test drive(20-30 min drive) I had it mainly of comfort and sport and seemed plenty comfortable on either. |

Per KW:
The The KW HAS front springs have a spring rate of 187 LBS./in. The rear springs have a rate of 685.8 LBS./in. Where are the Dinan rates posted? Are they verified?

Yes but would like them to commit with numbers...they claim an increase of 18% front and 5% rear so....
based on the OEM rates posted all over the net it would make the Dinan rates aprox..... Pre-comp pack 218.3/678.5 Comp pack 233.6/803.3
