Not sure if there is already a thread on this topic but wanted to get some recommendations / feedback on outdoor car covers.

I use the Covercraft superweave that gives a great form fit. After a few times, install/removal will take only a minute.

Lol so funny I see this thread. Just washed my car in the first time in weeks and bought a Amazon m3 car cover $100. Fits perfect.

I have a covercraft block it noah. Its fine if you dont really drive the car much but can be a hassle when you do more frequent. I use it mostly for sun/UV protection. I wish i could garage the car but its too wide to fit in it.

The material is soft and cotton/wool like. Leaves and small things stick to it. Also be aware that removing and installing the cover can cause microscratches. Water gets trapped and doesnt evaporate as fast. Dust/dirt collects under the cover at the roof and trunk area because of wind. The material wears out at certain areas that get handled like the mirror flaps because you have to pull it over the mirror(outside of cover, inside is still fine).

Surprisingly, the thin cover protects the car from dings and scratches. While i was jacking up another car next to it, the top edge of the jack handle hit the car. If that cover wasnt on, there would be a paint scratch.

This frond fell 30+ feet on my old car. Window was shattered but no other damage.

I looked at the Amazon link, and despite claiming to be waterproof, several reviews posted that it is not waterproof.

Was looking at this:
https://www.carcovers.com/covers/car...car-cover.html

Anyone have this cover?

My car sits in the hot Florida sun and gets drenched daily. I only drive 2-3 times a week, so I think a cover would be better than all the crap (including bird crap) that falls on the car.

After 4 years of the covercraft noah block it, The integrity of the material has deteriorated. Water leaks through, and it just tears easily like construction paper if pulled on. The shark fin on the roof tore the cover while i was pulling it down on the bumpers... Around the mirrors was the first to tear.

I replaced it with a california car cover. Its made of a plastic/nylon/poly whatever material. Doesnt have static like the covercraft but probably wont protect the car as much from accidental dings.

Yeah, the Noah cover craft is the gold standard. I replace it every two or three winters the car is outside. Well worth the money and it's so soft and breathable

Did covercraft change their cover names? I don't see a Noah cover on their website..?

I've used California covers before. The fit and finish was nice. Inner material was soft and did protect the car. Only issue I had was they didn't last long (less than a year or so)
