Long response times?

Wanted to know if its normal for vendors to take a couple days to respond? I've consistently had to wait 2-4 days and right now I'm going on almost a week without response. I'm not just asking about pricing either, i already have something soon to be shipped and know i want other items ordered i just need a reply. I'm sure they get tons of messages on a regular day which is why i wanted to get others opinions who have dealt with multiple vendors.

Depends on your vendor, I check and respond to forum messages every day, 7 days a week
