It’s always handy to own a truck, weather it’s trips to ikea or taking yard trimmings to the recycling center. This 1997 Chevy Silverado is my daily. 120,000kms, 4.7 v8, with a procharger supercharger I have yet to install. Lowered two inches up front, 4 in the back. Always loved the way these trucks look.

Seriously considering a Macan, thoughts on it vs your M4 as a true daily if you could only choose one?

Here's my mess:

My mom has a base Macan and I've got a friend with the Macan Turbo.

For SUVs, they feel very planted and the steering is surprisingly responsive and relatively sporty. The Turbo is quite fast and is honestly a blast to drive.

That being said, I personally (no kids), am perfectly content with my M4 as a daily driver and more confident in its reliability. The F8x is truly the only car that checks every box for me. If someone forced me to buy an SUV I'd take a hard look at the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio as I've heard amazing things about it

I have too… but the quality of the Alfa's are really bad. Kindda like Tesla's.

I DD the 03 M3 (6spd) and 11 X5M. 01 M5 (6spd) occasionally. Need to add the F80 (6spd) in rotation. Beautiful cars in this thread, must admit, I'm a bit jealous!

Were you ever on any mustang forums? In particular regional ones?

I left my drag racing mustang days behind me when I discovered the road course

Not to mention PIR, woodburn and Yakima only get so much mileage until I grew tired of them.

DD is currently the 2012 TT RS...

...because the '02 TT has come down with enough mechanical/electrical/cosmetic issues that I haven't been motivated to get it roadworthy again. Here's a shot from happier times.

Edit: Oh, and red cars best cars.
