That's the worst designed roundabout ever. You have to drive onto the crosswalk to get around. The city will be on the hook for faulty design as well if someone sues.

I've driven in this area a few times and it's awkward at best. All I can say in regard to the event is thankfully no one was hurt and hopefully, she learns her lesson. DUI is gonna hit her hard so this may be a very good wake up call.

Any type of property damage = Felony DUI. Minimum, she will be in jail for 30-60 days and lose her license for at least a year, plus court-ordered alcohol treatment program (rehab, then lots of AA meetings). That car is 100% totaled, so.. 80k + (lets say) $20k + 20k (assuming that camero isn't also totaled), PLUS damage to city property. plus, she'll be in probation for who knows how long. She is extremely screwed, and for a long time.

The good news is she won't be driving anything for a while, and nothing even remotely close to an M4 for maybe several years, and that's if she can even get insurance by then.

Good thing she hit it square on or she might have ended up in someones house or plowing into those other cars. She is REALLY lucky. if she killed someone she wouldn't be out of jail until the H series platform was well into production.

PS- Assuming she doesn't have a rich family, a 27yo driving an M4 has a really good job, or had;, one she won't be havin' after spending a month or two in jail. The best part- all of this on her record will automatically exclude her from most jobs, especially ones that pay for an M4.

She had some kind of raised aftermarket wing. You can see it when the tow truck guy picks the trunk lid up off the ground at about 0:44.

I think that's just the rear bumper cover.

Haha - just a sarcastic commentary on state of the country these days - agree she held all the cards and owns the outcome. Glad know one was hurt - miraculously.

Insensitively I'm laughing on the inside at the Camaro that got destroyed, it's funny that I was more curious about what car got smashed by the giant ass boulder soaring through the air then the actual car attempting take off and failing.

Maybe she was just trying to get to the open two parking stalls first and that is why she went airborne!! 😂
