In this video we used screws for extra safety, its not mandatory. If customer does not feel comfortable doing so , we recommend using the VM 3HB.

When shopping for skirts, can I assume that the F82 skirts/blades also fit the F80? Is the length the same and al I would have to do is add a few cutouts for the F80 underside? Thanks

Screws or rivets are absolutely mandatory.
OEM procedure calls for it. You don’t want them flying out at speed. Or better yet falling off when you will...and I mean you will step on them every once in a while |

I’m living with the shorter skirts. I have the iND modified ones and realistically can’t see the difference.
I doubt someone will invest in two sets of tooling for M3 and M4 versions |

The people that are running M4 blades on their M3's are usually using the M-Performance blades that are modified with cut outs for the jack points. They are indeed 1/4" short for the M3. Visually, you won't even notice it after it's installed. Although the M3 and M4 are identical in wheel base, the fenders are cut differently. The M3 fenders are cut tighter to make room for the extra doors. |
