Bmw offers the best discounts, compared to other manufacturers like Audi, Mercedes, Ford etc, for their military sales department. Lowered msrp, options are a few hundred cheaper, and a flat 10% off the complete build price. It is the easiest no hassle purchase I’ve ever dealt with. I purchased an 18 w/ metallic paint, zcp, and leather for a substantial amount less than ED or dealer. However, this velocity edition sounds stupid. If you think this is garbage, look at the Petty edition POS mustangs and F150s. That old bag was out here in Germany trying to sell his stuff and it’s ignorantly over priced.

For 15k, you can take your current F80 ZCP or not and get:
1) Custom lightweight wheels and tires 5-7k 2) Suspension upgrades 3-5k (optional) 3) Carbon Fiber parts 3-5k 4) BootMod3 And you are done |

At least it looks better than that the Tommy Hilfiger Edition M3 that came out a few months ago....I'd have to see better pictures of the car, but from what I can see, it kind of sucks. Color looks like crap, and the text on the seats looks like it was typed by Yoda from a 1980's computer.
With that being said, if any of the military members over there decide to buy this car and get that discount, it isn't a bad deal for 80.2k. If you option out a regular M3 with everything this car has minus anything under the Velocity Package, you end up getting around ~80k anyways. |
