Sun visors
So the warning label removal did not go as planned.
I tried rubbing alcohol + micro fiber as recommended. Then goo gone Then wrapped micro fiber towel around my mouse sander Then Brillo pad Then goof off pro + heat This is the best it gets. Wtf is up with these labels?! Anyone have the link to buy the euro visors?

I love that this bothers some people so much they'd pay $350 for a pair of visors lol

Haha wow I didn't think some one would remove those. I never get my neck/head in that angle for it to be bothersome. Maybe you can find an upholstery shop to have it redone without label for cheaper lol

What year is your car? Did you just buy the car new or is it a few years old?
From my experience, the ability to remove the air bag warning labels is directly related to how old the car is. The newer the car, the easier it is to remove the labels. You buy a car that's a few years old, it's probably sat in the sun and those labels are really baked on from the heat in the car. The way I've done it, mostly on brand new cars, is to remove the visors (pretty easy on a BMW), lay the visors on a flat surface with something underneath it like an old towel or newspaper (don't do it on the dining room table or kitchen counter). Then I take a paper shop towel, soak it in alcohol, and lay it flat on the label on the visor. Leave the shop towel on for awhile to let the alcohol "soak in", then start rubbing/scraping at the corners and edges. Keep doing this procedure until it all comes off. Prepare to use a lot of alcohol. After the label itself is gone, if you've got residue, Goo Gone does a pretty good job. Wash the visor with a soapy rag and wipe off to get rid of the Goo Gone smell. You think those ugly labels look bad on a Coupe or Sedan? They look even worse on a Cabriolet, because any time the top is down you see those ugly labels. My Z4 M Roadster was 6 years old when I bought it and removed the air bag labels.

I would have hit it with a hairdryer or heat gun first.

Definitely recommend the heat gun. It works great on visors regardless of the material, fabric, leather, or alcantara. Biggest thing is heat a small area, and roll it. If you pull straight out on the sticker you can mess up the visor by creating bubbles or "fluffy" spots. Also leave your hand there so you know you don't get it too hot. Most important, go slow. Once the sticker is off use a microfiber cloth and 90% alcohol. I've never had an issue doing it that way.

I reported it. There's a separate forum for political talk, doesn't belong in the General Forum.
