M Performance Exhaust YouTube video

I’m sure this has been on here somewhere, but for those who have not seen it it’s a pretty cool video about the M performance exhaust and the difference’s.

while the muffler is a separate piece it can only be connected to an MPE mid pipe

No other pipes can connect to it?

not anything stock, you can always get custom piping

That is why you will see "MPE muffler only" selling for cheap, they are useless

Between 4-5k (CDN). Check the canada for sale there was one recently there for 4.5k. New even with a discount will be about 8k

I have MPE v2 w CF tips combined with AA mid (+ section of the MPE mid to connect to muffler as described above) and its as good as you will get out of the S55.

I am getting the vrsf single mid with my mpe, how does it sound? Worth the money?

Vrsf is a low quality knock off aa mid pipe

I would not settle for low quality on an M3. Last thing you want is an exhaust buzzing after a couple months/years because its falling apart.

I did AA first then MPE. AA amplified stock CS sound which was deep and got rid of rasp. MPE changed to the tone to higher pitch exotic. Relative to price of MPE, AA is worth it. In absolute $, it never makes sense, I could have bought a new car with exhaust and suspension money spent....

I believe VRSF is a carbon copy of the AA and there are varying takes on the quality. Some people have said fitment and quality is meh, others have said its better than AA.

In this situation i tend to lean on you get what you pay for so no doubt the AA is a better quality i just dont know if it justifies the almost 1k premium over the VRSF.

Overall im willing to go with the AA but only if it's really worth it for the sound, or else if its sucha negligible improvement id rather take my chances with VRSF.

Btw did you have to cut around your MPE, and the high pitched exotic sound i am assuming is much more special to you?

Already on my MPE from 4.5k up i get the high pitched scream but i also have downpipes which means more rasp.

Do you also have DPs?
