SSR Performance - Parts, Installs, Tunes - SoCal's Trusted BMW Facility

I would really love a shop close to me that does this kinda of BMW work.

anyone know a shop like this in the bay area?

OP, it depends on what you need, and how much money you're willing to burn.

For simple bolt ons and basic maintenance, you can go to places like HTL Motorsports, Performance Technic, or Speed Element.

If you need something more advanced, like engine diagnostics, turbo upgrade, built engine, then check out Silicon Valley Bimmer and VTT.

If you need a one stop BMW specialist shop, and don't mind paying dealership rates, then Carbahn is the place to be.

Yeah they're owned by different people. The guy who owns the Dublin store used to own both, but sold the MV location to the guys who are there. They're independent now. Even though I live close to the Dublin location, I go to the MV location when I need something done.

Appreciate the reply. I used to go to PTech when they were in Dublin. Then started taking mine to Edge. Can you shed a bit more light as to why you go the extra mile for MV instead of Dublin?

Update 4/29/2018: Edge Motorworks Dublin is closing and no longer accepting appointments.

I vote SV Bimmer, they're the only ones that works on my F80 for any work and I agree with the other guys here for HTL for basic bolt ons for your car.

The guys drive themselves F80s so you know what they're doing.

Sv they're all former Bimmer techs so you get the full dealership service without the rape price.

I agree with SV and HTL motor sport but I have another one I love.

Bimmeronly in Fremont - Nima will take care of you and it'll for sure be the cheapest price out of Silicon Valley Bimmer & HTL MotorSport! I live in Fremont and I've had a ton of work done on my car with Nima. Can't be more satisfied!
