Ive been trying to figure this out for a few days. I wondered what was up with the CS and CS+ stuff.

Where do you guys post these updates? What is the pecking order of OTS tunes? I dont need dyno charts. But is the GTS tune still the highest HP OEM like tune? Or is it the CLS? Or now the CS+ which was the old CS?

So many tunes and options Im trying to keep up.

There is a group on Facebook called 'bootmod3 enthusiasts' where we usually post updates.

Highest OEM tunes are CSL/GTS, then CS and ZCP.

CS+ is new new map formerly known as the CS, it shares almost same top end as the CSL/GTS. We also have the OEM CS available now, free too!

Let's do some 100-200 or 60-130 times challenge on each OEM map

you can see max absolute boost of the CS map is about 31-32psi
vs the CSL map of 30.5 or there about.

CS def feels stronger on my car for sure..

just by looking at the boost curve you get an idea of what it will look like on Dyno and the CS boost curve looks much smoother to me.

much of a much suppose remember we do not have the water injection system of CSL and i am sure that makes a huge difference keeping charge temps low

forgot to add that this is the BM3 CS so current CS+

Something doesn't make sense here, Isn't 32psi way too much? cause I have the Bootmod Stage 1 OTS map which peaks at 22.4psi, how can the CS map push more boost?

You can just set the datalogging to relative boost Sometimes it's nice to see the absolute.

As a tidbit, in the pure sense of the term, an absolute pressure number isn’t “boost”. The “boost” is the increased pressure provided by the charge system over athmosphere, which by definition is relative pressure. However, an absolute measure of the manifold air pressure (MAP) reading is a much better indicator of potential power output.

Yes of course problem is people get confused when you talk about pressure, let alone relative and absolute, instead of just calling it boost boost is not a science term. Its just pressure and when its relative to ambient pressure its what people have referred to as boost, the word we all deeply love and respect so much

I got just got the BM3 yesterday and did the stage 1 OTC with max burble.

my car is originally 2018 m4 f83 Comp package.

mind me please this my first time messing with stuff like this and I know very little

my question is how much do you really gain, also can you add the GTS transmission map along with 91 Map stage 1.

or what are best combos to do. I have been looking for a while. I went to SSR-Performance in orange, they charged me $840 to buy the tune, which didn't include a cable or anything just a license, login and where to download the stuff, that it. According to the invoice it was 595 for the tune and 200 for labor. don't know what labor. the guy said he had to unlock my DME or whatever.
They didn't tell me much about it. so can you please provide a basic understanding along with how much HP and Torque you get.

I mean I do and I can feel the difference its more torque but I feel lag in power until 3000rpm and then it goes. but I don't feel much.

any help and guidance will be much appreciated.

Yeah, you're off boost below 3k-3.5k depending on the tune.

Im shocked you are not more interested on what tune you have, what settings you have and whats going on. Do you have a OTS tune? custom tune? Is your tune running right? THose things are important.

Sounds like you have BM3. Id get your login info and take a look and go from there. There are other tunes with different power ratings and torque that you can try.

I would probably suggest a new shop like EAS too. I dont know anything about your vender. But that doesn't sound right to me.

I'm not educated enough to suggest anything but that duration seems excessively high to me.

I highly suggest you read the manual. Get the cable and default your tune settings and go from there buddy. The manual is very good.

Good luck.

You can try the OTS settings first, in case you want something changed like duration for burble in sport mode, you can always do that
