CS if not having a 6MT doesn't bother you and it's not really close. If you want a DCT car, CS is where its at.
Heritage if you need a 6MT and don't care about the loss of ICONs. Comp if you want 6MT and ICONs. |

I wouldn’t pay extra for heritage compared to same spec ZCP. It’s neat but it’s just a marketing push.
Otherwise, there is no wrong choice. I chose 2018 ZCP with 6sp and all the goodies (768M wheels, MPE, CF bits, exec package w ICONs, etc). Owned it longer than any car I’ve ever had. I would have gotten bored with DCT by now. |

Hi, thanks. So basically you're saying Comp. Great thanks. I guess most replies are saying Comp is the best choice when all benefits and losses are considered? |

CS cars will lack the following:
- Auto climate control - Door puddle illumination - Door storage - 360 Cameras - Driver lane keep - Blind Spot detection - Arm rest storage - Wireless car charger - 666 Rims CS cars you gain - Oled rear lights - 19in front rims - CF Hood - Alcentara interior - 10 HP though with coding you can achieve this. Really would go for Comp for the extra functions unless you wish to track car |

Thanks a mill mate , finally someone listed some informative listing rather than personal opinion and 6MT,8AT My currect M4's a OLED rear lights that i installed myself (paid a grand and now it's only around £600). HP is not much diff, and the bonnet i can purchase online(tbh, it's the bonnet that attracts me) and as u can see from my profile name, 666 is my fav number therefore i prefer the 666rims |

CS are much better driving cars than ZCP due to the revised damping <- this isn't an overstatement either, it's significant. Better daily and better performance.
You can code this on ZCP if you would like as they share the same dampers, I would recommend that you do if you go that route. Regardless of what you go with, just bring it up to CS spec.

If you plan on keeping this car completely stock, the decision is much harder to make than if you plan on adding modifications.
If you plan to modify the car for more performance with different suspension, increased horsepower, etc., then you should buy a base model car in the colors, transmission, and technology features you want.

As RugbyBro mentioned, the driving experience and suspension tuning of the CS and the Comp are vastly different and they feel like different cars. You can’t get 10 hp from coding, you have to buy an ecu tune (cs, gts, stage 1, stage 2). If you don’t mind tuning the ecu then it’s easy, albeit not cheap, to get 10-120 whp. However, if you’re against ecu tuning then that’s 10 whp and factory engine tuning lost. As for the list of things you lose when buying a CS, I didn’t order any of the options listed on my f82 and, iirc, those optional items aren’t standard on the Comp. So buying a Comp doesn’t mean you automatically get all of the items in the list that the CS doesn’t have. This one is subjective but the 763M wheels look so much better than the complex 666M. You could completely wash the CS in the same amount of time it takes to just clean the Comp 666M wheels! The difference in ride quality between the 19/20 and 20/20 wheel setups is easily felt. The CS is a lot more than a list of have/have not items. Before buying, test drive both models and see for yourself if the CS feels superior to a Comp. |

Also, here's a recent video on an M4 CS. You just cannot go wrong with this car, and as someone who has owned nearly very iteration of this generation, I cannot recommend it enough. Last edited by NickyC; 03-27-2024 at 12:12 AM.. |

Mate, i've to disagree on that. they're both made in China but one says BMWOLED one just says OLED, but all the look and functionality are absolutely identical |
