Is this combo possible?
I've seen very few pictures of a CS style lip along with lower splitters. This leads me to believe there is an issue with fitment while the splitters are installed. I currently have MP CF lowers with a MP lip and fitment is fine. Definitely interested in a CS style lip, but do not want to sacrifice the splitters. Any and all advice is appreciated. Thank you greatly! |

It's not possible without cutting the bottom of the splitters off

Interesting. Thanks guys.
Has this been done before? Any pictures of how much of a trim is needed? Any issues after the bottom of the splitter is cut off? |

I've done it. Can't get a pic for you now, but will grab one later when heading out from work and update.

Not sure if their fitment is specific to them, but they have a lot of pics |

Sorry for the delay. Sun had gone down by the time I got out to the car and forgot to snap one when I got home.
The lower splitters require trimming. It's a bit tedious, but can be done and made to look like the pieces were designed to fit together. I spent a lot of time masking off each, then loosely fitting and marking the various lines numerous times before committing to the first trim. Went back and fine-tuned the trim lines a couple more times after the initial cuts were made and the pieces could be pre-fit and marked a little better.

RW Carbon rep. Fits great (admit I probably got lucky there) and installed it with OEM mounting hardware.

So some these setups required cutting and some of y'all are claiming your setups don't? Would love to know what brand/OEM combination of splitters + lips you two have, Gatoferoz25 and tanzm4_ !

OEM will require cutting. If you have ebay replicas that hug your bumper no cutting is required. The OEM M-Performance splitters stick out more, which is why it won't pair without alterations

I paired mine with OEM splitters and eBay rep CS lip. No cutting at all. Just need to take the bumper off and drill from the inside

Can you explain what "drill from the inside" means? Even better if you have a pic. I always thought they were installed using some 3M tape and screws on the bottom side?

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I'm curious to see if there is any new information about pairing a CS style lip with splitters. I'm in an unfortunate predicament with OEM CF splitters from 2017 that are really showing their wear and a spider web cracked, faded M Performance lip...
I'm not opposed to trying to remove the OEM splitters (likely adhered with betalink so f me) for a lip that works without, but then if I ruin the paint I'm cornered with needing new splitters - and again a lip that works with them. Yes, I know I could just get another M Perf lip. Maybe if it comes to that. |
