VRSF intakes issue... MAF just will not go in...

Tried everything to get them in at this point. They won't even fit if I take the O-rings off, so I don't know how I'm gonna get them in with the O-ring on...

What year is your car? VRSF advertises these for 2015+. Not sure what the difference is on the 2014, but if that's the year you have it could be the issue

15 is the first year. They are all the same so that's not the issue.

We'll dang I could've sworn I'd seen this platform advertised as 2014 before, but it appears you are correct.

Wonder if the OP got it figured out…?

2012-2019 M3/M4 same part number for MAF based on realoem. Doubt it is a year thing.

Since OP hasn't responded guess they worked it out.

Update(?): Used a silicon lubricant and used a method to shrink o-rings and barely got it to go in, although now I am getting a MAF error (102E11).

Thanks for the update. Sounded like a head scratcher for sure.

MAF sensors are pretty sensitive to chemical exposure. Dedicated MAF safe cleaners are made because of this. I'm not sure if silicone will damage a MAF, but it's highly likely.

I would go back to stock until its situated. You don't want to mess with the maf.
