Macht Schnell springs
Can anyone and everyone who has experience with Macht Schnell springs please share your knowledge here. I’d really like to hear some first hand experiences before making a purchase.

Here is a picture showing stock vs MS springs. To be honest it rides lower than I would like, resulting in many scrapes to the bumper, rear diff, etc but it handles a lot nicer with less body roll.

i actually just got my car back from getting them done. drove the car back home and two more times since then and the ride is much more comfortable, first thing i noticed. other than that the drop is really nice, most likely will get 19’s to fill out the gap a bit more because i’m on 513ms right now.

This has me nervous because I had my heart set on Macht Schnells and was only a little worried about the ride height. I dont plan on running the front cf lip, and was hoping any scraping would just be in non visible areas

as far as the springs, i think they definitely will settle a bit more. the other guy that posted his side by side looks a bit lower than mine. so far, i do go in and out of everywhere at a heavy angle just out of safety, tried going out of my gas station at a smaller angle and heard the bottom of the lip scrape so yea. if you don’t run a lip you’re definitely a bit safer, you might catch the bottom of the bumper in certain areas but that’s just normal when you lower a car. probably has something to do with my wheel setup too though but if i have the lip i have and i’m not scraping at an angle then you won’t have much to worry about with no lip.

As mentioned in PM the scratches look just like this and here is my driveway, not a big bump but sometimes scratches if i dont approach at an angle

If you are truly concerned about scraping, just don't lower the car. You will just drive yourself crazy everytime you approach a speed bump or any steeper incline and be paranoid to scrape everything and damage components under the car

Would like to see some front car pics of the car that is scraping. I could care less if it’s just the bottom and you can see anything looking head on or down at the car. |

Loved them...... out of the 3 different sets I tried they were my favorite
I tried H&R, MS & EMD... then the KW HAS kit then finally coilover. Here it is on the MS springs Last edited by horsepower_and_hounds; 02-13-2024 at 02:28 PM.. |
