software update

Hello,

My dealer ran my VIN, when I called to setup service on my 2020 M4 Comp.. they said I have an software update du.. does anyone know what this may entail?

My 2020 m4 comp had one it’s to add something for cel phone service I didn’t really notice a change

Upgrading from 3g to 4g I believe. If you have a 2020 with your DME unlocked DO NOT UPGRADE. It will lock your DME and you'll have to redo the entire process.
