That’s pretty old for a Porsche. Should probably sell it now.

Ready for some good times down at Willow Springs and Button Willow.

F/R Brake ducts, fresh ebc track pads, castrol SRF, PPF, and ceramic. Will also try snag some better tires while I'm down in California, but I'll kill the new Pilot Super Sports first! Sedan_Clan Will give you a shout after the track days!

Porsche DTLA has a Benz GT-R also. 2021, 10k miles for like 100k.

I’m tempted to ask for a test drive to see how the car feels.

A GTR for 100K? That's a steal compared to what they go for here. A clean 2021 is well into the 200's

I'm asking tomorrow, I may have gotten the price wrong or something was up with the car.

I expected the car to sit so I never asked when I was there the previous time for my friend.

If this was a buyback, it would still be too cheap. If this was a salvaged title, they would sell it at the auction and not in the showroom.

Yeah there wasn't an AMG GTR with 10k miles for $100k. Especially being sold at a Porsche dealership, not happening. That is a $140k vehicle, if it is 2018. Anything newer and it goes up from there.

Agree. Especially when their sister store MB is next door.

On an unrelated note, my turn has come up to buy a Rivian R1T. However, I think I might pass, even though it would mean forfeiting the $7500 tax rebate (I should still qualify because I signed a binding purchase agreement last year before the new tax law came into force).

The idea was always to combine our 2019 X5 50i (daily driver and highway cruiser with creature comforts and self-driving) and 2019 Ram 2500 (utility and tow vehicle) into an R1T. But it looks like you could only get about 100 miles of range with the R1T while towing, which means adding one or more full-battery charging stops onto most of my towing trips. Also, with the price of the R1T up to ~$92,500 from ~$75,000 and interest rates up to ~5%, it's much more expensive than it used to be.

Thoughts?

P.s. cool pic of a recent Rivian meetup I stumbled upon at Alice's.

Personally I don’t think it is worth it.

Though I never had a need for a pickup so.

I think you are making the right call if you plan to tow on a frequent basis. Let others work through range anxiety and have the batteries last longer/more efficient before you head on over to that side.

So my sales guy contacted me with a GTS allocation that i had deposit on for awhile. I decided to pass for a few reasons - one is that my build is $170k which is about $10k more when I originally built one; two - the 992.2 is right around the corner and three - i think i need a GT3 to really be happy as that is the dream car.

I’m actively looking for CPO low mileage 991.2 GT3 and maybe prices for 992 GT3 will come down close to msrp.

Definitely just hard to pass on a custom build for 911 though.

The 2024 Carrera T is up $9K-$10K including higher destination. But they have made the carbon bucket seats and Bose available, which were notable exclusions on 2023 orders.
