Putting the M Sport Package on the 3 and 5GT is already enough of an abomination, making either one of them a full M car would be even more ridiculous. Wagon all the way

Saw another 3GT last night, this time on the move. It is just so ungainly. It's soooooo long, yet narrow and low. You look at it and say 3 series and then you see the increased ride height and length and think what the....
It just looks so unproportioned. Long and narrow and talk are polar opposite what a performance car needs to be. Ugh. |

Expecting another child but trying to avoid SUV. I am digging the e63 amg wagon, wish we had an M3 wagon coming.

Wagon > Sedan > Coupe.
F81 M3 Touring, FTW! I'd give my left nut for an BMW made F81 M3 Touring.

Touring! I would love one! Another cool car would be a M version of the 2 series 'active tourer'.
The poll is overwhelmingly in favor of a touring. And this is mostly NA! In Europe it would be >90%.

Neither but if I had to choose i'd say GT cause wagons just remind me of 70's soccer mom car.

WAGON WAGON WAGON WAGON WAGON!
I couldn't ever justify the extra $30k on the AMG version of our E-class (it really is a family hauler and my wife's DD....and the 520 hp, sub 5 second 0-60, etc, didn't make sense) BUT - as a second car? faaaawk yeah man. |

Argh, just give up, grow a beard and a beer belly, and join the minivan club. I should know what I'm talking about.
Wagons work, they are great, but I for one am not going to get a car that I can fit the family in, it would just be too damn cruel. Engine, power, and a spouse who keeps shouting at me about ruined tires, stoplight racing, and my favorite, tiny bit of speeding. He can ride with the pact in the Q, I'll be more than happy with mr Danzig or Morrison while destroying all hope of being the normal female.
