Those rear 3/4 shots make the car look fat. And not the good kind.

F80 M3 looks better to me. And I had E92 M3, so I generally prefer the coupe look. Actually, I'm starting to think I like the M235i F22 better than this F82. I think the F82 just looks too stretched or something.

Visually speaking, it's always been flared fenders, front/rear/side body work, ride height, and wheels (except the E36 which lacked the fenders I believe). Then the E9x added the CF roof, which the F8x continues with. Now we also get colored brake calipers too (for what it's worth), although you get those on the F3x MSport too.
The F82 also gets a unique trunk that the F32 doesn't. I don't agree that the delta between the base the ///M cars is shrinking -- not aesthetically, anyway.

Don't get me started on the engine

First a horrible engine choice and now a completely boring body?

the f80s dont get the new idrive controller? doesnt look to have the touch glass on the top of the knob. I like how understated the m4 looks in this color. cant wait to see what ltmw has in store.

I just can't get past the hood line over the emblem. Too fugly. I just can't spend $80K on a car and see that every day.

They do, and it can be seen in other cars. This may have been an early pre-NBT test car.

Something just doesn't look right with this design. Front bumper too fussy? Wheels don't help. Having big second thoughts

Just wait until they remove those last white strips on the front bumper. That will make you all love it!

Is it just me or is the bigger "lack" coming from the hood. It just doesn't seem to pop as much as the e92 did. That was always the most noticeable thing for me, seeing that power dome when id see them driving down the street. I like the color, it's a more subtle look for the car

If I were BMW there's no way on God's green earth I would've let that car out without camo. Particularly right before launch and so much able bodied competition out there and on the horizon. The car doesn't look fully cooked.

That's a controller for a non-navigation car.

These pre-production cars. Do they sell or destroy the cars when the real production starts?
